SPARC Staffordshire
SOStainability is hosting the SPARC Staffordshire event to engage stakeholders in business, government, non-profit, and the academic community in reflecting on Staffordshire’s sustainability journey as a place.
Expected outcomes include a shared understanding of the net zero journey, including achievements and challenges encountered, and the expressed commitment of stakeholders to step up on sustainability ambitions, targets, and implementation.
Speakers are Emma Baines, Regional Hub Manager (West Midlands) of the Climate Ambassadors Scheme, JAS Bahra of AMW Renewables, and Oke Epia, Director of SOStainability.
Side Attraction: Participants will be taken on a tour of the Horwood Energy Centre at Keele
The event will be held on June 26, 2025, at the Innovation Centre 6, Denise Coates Foundation Building, Keele University, between 10.00 am and 12.30 pm.
This is a FREE event, but registration is required. Parking information will be shared with confirmed participants.
SPARC Staffordshire is being organised as part of Lagos Climate Action Week (LCAW) and to commemorate the World Environment Day this month.
